SFAP has developed a verified approach to calculate the CO2-footprint of the crops produced under the SFAP programme. The approach is based on the UN FAO LEAP methodology and follows the reference that is introduced by the Global Feed Lifecycle Assessment Institute (GFLI).
The SFAP CO2 statement offers companies honest and verified LCA data to be included in further LCA calculations and product communication.
